Mechanical conversion of the AKE 1 (robot) for the catalytic converter coating. A flexible, time-limited conversion phase was designed in close cooperation with the engineers. The difficulty lay in reusing existing plant parts with new components. This required excellent cooperation with the planning, the operators, suppliers and our fitters. The entire conversion work included pipes made of stainless steel from 12mm to 400mm. Steel pipelines from DN 25 to DN 100 and plastic pipelines up to DN 200. Tank and steel construction assembly were just as much part of the scope as dismantling and reassembly work on existing plant components. In this project, our lathes and milling machines were used as well as our WIG, MAG and plastic welding machines.

We manufactured all the substructures and pipe supports for this project.
